Terms and Conditions

BlueBook Education – Master Terms & Conditions, Privacy, and Investment Policy

Effective Date: February 1, 2026
Company: BlueBook Education (“BlueBook,” “Company,” “we,” “us,” “our”)
Platform: BlueBook’s website, forms, scheduling tools, communication systems, and any related services (collectively, the “Platform”)
User: Any person using the Platform or services (“you,” “your,” “User”), including students, parents/guardians, tutors/contractors, customers, and investors.

1) Legally Binding Agreement

These Terms & Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement (“Agreement”) between you and BlueBook Education governing your use of the Platform and participation in any BlueBook services, including tutoring services and any investment-related arrangements.

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. This Agreement contains provisions that may affect your legal rights, including limitations of liability, disclaimers, and optional dispute resolution/arbitration language.

By accessing, using, registering for, purchasing, scheduling, investing, or otherwise interacting with the Platform or services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Agreement.

If you do not agree, do not use the Platform or services.

2) Who This Applies To / Authority to Bind Others

  • If you use the Platform on behalf of a student, family member, organization, or another person/entity, you represent you have authority to bind them to this Agreement.

  • “You” includes both you individually and any entity/person you represent.

3) Services Overview

BlueBook provides educational services which may include:

  • Tutoring and academic support

  • Scheduling, matching, and communications between tutors and students

  • Learning resources, tools, and administrative support

No Guarantee of Results: Academic outcomes vary. BlueBook does not guarantee specific grade improvements, test score increases, admissions outcomes, or other results.

4) Cancellation Policy (Tutoring Sessions)

Cancellation Policy ~ BlueBook Education

At BlueBook Education, we strive to provide high-quality educational services and value both our tutors’ and students’ time. To ensure fairness and consistency:

  1. 24-Hour Notice Required
    All cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled session.

  2. Late Cancellation Fee
    Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will result in the full session fee being charged.

  3. Exceptions
    Exceptions may be made in cases of emergency at BlueBook Education’s sole discretion.

  4. Acceptance
    By scheduling a session, you agree to adhere to this cancellation policy.

5) Investment Terms (If You Invest with BlueBook)

This section applies only if you enter into an investment arrangement with BlueBook (“Investment”).

5.1 Fund Distribution Requests

You may request information about how your investment is being allocated by emailing BlueBook with the subject line:
“Fund Distribution”
Please allow up to 48 hours for a response (excluding weekends/holidays unless otherwise stated by BlueBook).

5.2 Withdrawal Timing

  • You may withdraw your return on your designated withdrawal date as agreed upon at the time of investment.

5.3 Early Withdrawal Authorization

  • If you choose to withdraw your investment before the designated withdrawal date, you authorize BlueBook to collect 50% of your current return as an early withdrawal fee/charge.

5.4 Risk Acknowledgment / No Insurance / No Guarantee

  • You acknowledge that you may lose some or all of your investment.

  • Investments are NOT FDIC insured.

  • BlueBook is not responsible for losses of invested funds or returns.

  • BlueBook makes no promises or guarantees regarding profits, returns, or performance.

6) Privacy Policy & Data Use (Master Notice)

This section explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we share it. By using the Platform, you consent to the practices described below.

6.1 The Information BlueBook Education Collects and Receives

The categories of information collected depend on how you interact with BlueBook and the Platform.

(A) Information You Provide to Us

Contact information:

  • Name, email address, phone number, mailing address (if provided), and details of your inquiry.

  • When you create an account or register, we may also collect username and password (or credentials via a third-party login provider if applicable).

Payment information:

  • If you make a purchase, we or our payment processor may collect billing and transaction information to process payments.

  • For security, we do not store sensitive cardholder data such as full card numbers, card authentication data, or sensitive bank account details.

Personal, professional, and education-related information:

  • Students/parents may provide academic needs, learning goals, scheduling preferences, and subject-related details.

  • Tutors/contractors may provide professional background details and information necessary to facilitate payments and comply with legal obligations.

Student-related data:

  • We may collect information related to tutoring services such as subject areas, participation, session notes, progress indicators, and learning preferences—only as needed to provide the services.

Information you submit or authorize us to collect (including voice/likeness):

  • Messages, chats, emails, forms, documents, reviews, feedback, assessments, photos, audio/video (if used), or other content you submit through the Platform or communications with BlueBook.

Information about third parties you provide:

  • For example, a parent/guardian providing student information, an emergency contact, or a referral.

  • You are responsible for having authority/permission to provide that information.

Surveys, testimonials, comments, reviews, blogs/social:

  • If you participate in surveys or submit feedback/testimonials, we may collect what you provide.

  • If we ever post testimonials publicly, we will seek consent where appropriate.

(B) Passively-Collected / Automatically Collected Information

When you visit or use the Platform, we may collect:

  • Device and usage information (browser type, operating system, IP address, device identifiers)

  • Date/time of requests, referring/exit pages, clickstream data

  • Approximate location derived from IP address

  • General interaction metrics (pages visited, time spent, feature usage)

This data helps us operate the Platform, improve performance, prevent fraud, and understand user needs.

6.2 How BlueBook Uses Information

BlueBook may use personal information for purposes including:

  • Providing and administering tutoring and educational services

  • Scheduling, communications, and customer support

  • Processing payments and managing accounts

  • Improving services, features, and user experience

  • Internal operations, analytics, planning, and reporting

  • Marketing and promotions (subject to opt-out choices)

  • Information security, fraud prevention, and compliance

  • Protecting our legal rights and enforcing agreements

  • Complying with applicable law

6.3 Information Sharing

BlueBook does not sell your personal information.

We may share information in limited circumstances:

  1. Service providers and vendors (hosting, email/SMS tools, scheduling systems, payment processors, analytics providers, professional services) as necessary to run our business.

  2. With tutors/educators assigned to a student, limited to what is needed to personalize instruction and provide services.

  3. Legal requirements (subpoenas, court orders, lawful requests, or to protect rights/safety).

  4. Business transitions (merger, acquisition, sale, restructuring), where information may be transferred as part of the transaction.

We may also share aggregated or de-identified information for analytics and business improvement.

6.4 Cookies, Tracking Technologies, and Analytics

BlueBook and our service providers may use cookies and similar technologies (cookies, pixels, tags, scripts) to:

  • Keep you logged in and maintain session security

  • Remember preferences and settings

  • Measure site performance and usage

  • Support communications and platform functionality

Your controls:
You can manage cookies through your browser settings. If you block certain cookies, some Platform features may not function properly.

6.5 Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to:

  • Request access to your data

  • Request correction or deletion

  • Opt out of certain marketing communications

  • Limit or object to certain processing where legally available

To request changes, contact BlueBook (see Contact section).

6.6 Data Retention

We retain information as long as needed to:

  • Provide services and maintain accounts

  • Comply with legal obligations

  • Resolve disputes and enforce agreements

  • Maintain reasonable business records
    Retention periods vary based on data type and purpose.

6.7 Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect personal data. However, no system is completely secure. You acknowledge that transmission of data over the internet carries inherent risk.

6.8 Third-Party Links

The Platform may include links to third-party sites. BlueBook is not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Use at your own risk.

7) Consent to Communications (Email/SMS/Calls)

By providing your phone number and/or email address, you agree that BlueBook may contact you for:

  • Scheduling and service delivery

  • Account and billing notices

  • Customer support

  • Important updates
    If you separately opt in, BlueBook may also send marketing communications.

Opt-out:

  • Promotional emails: use the unsubscribe link (when provided) or contact us.

  • Texts: reply “STOP” when applicable or contact us.
    Opting out may limit certain service communications, but transactional/service messages may still be sent when necessary.

Electronic signature: Clicking “I Agree,” checking a box, or submitting forms can constitute your electronic signature and acceptance of this Agreement.

8) Platform Rules, Acceptable Use, and Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Violate any laws or regulations

  • Harass, threaten, defame, or abuse others

  • Submit unlawful, obscene, or harmful content

  • Transmit malware, spam, or harmful code

  • Attempt unauthorized access to systems or accounts

  • Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Platform

  • Reverse engineer or interfere with Platform operations

  • Use the Platform to compete with BlueBook or for commercial exploitation without written consent

  • Collect personal data about other users without authorization

BlueBook may suspend or terminate access for violations.

9) Fees, Billing, and Refunds

  • Some services require payment. You authorize BlueBook (or our payment processor) to charge your payment method for applicable fees.

  • Unless required by law or expressly stated in writing, fees are non-refundable.

  • Late cancellation charges are governed by Section 4.

10) Intellectual Property

All Platform content (text, logos, graphics, forms, materials, software) is owned by BlueBook or licensors and protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without prior written permission, except as allowed for personal, non-commercial use related to your services.

11) User Content

You are responsible for the content you submit. You represent that:

  • You own it or have permission to share it

  • It does not violate third-party rights

  • It is lawful and appropriate

BlueBook may remove or restrict content at its discretion.

12) Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent allowed by law, the Platform and services are provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.”
BlueBook disclaims all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

13) Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BlueBook is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses.

If liability is found, BlueBook’s total liability will not exceed the amount you paid to BlueBook in the prior 12 months for the specific service giving rise to the claim (or $100 if none), to the extent permitted by law.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, limits apply to the maximum extent permitted.

14) Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BlueBook, its owners, employees, contractors, and agents from claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of:

  • Your misuse of the Platform

  • Your violation of this Agreement

  • Your violation of laws or third-party rights

  • Your submitted content

15) Dispute Resolution and Arbitration (Optional Framework)

Where permitted by law, disputes may be resolved through binding arbitration on an individual basis, and class actions may be waived. If you want this section to be fully enforceable for your state and business structure, you should have a local attorney finalize it.

Small claims option: Either party may pursue qualifying claims in small claims court if allowed.

16) Termination

BlueBook may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access at any time for:

  • Violations of this Agreement

  • Risk, security, or legal concerns

  • Operational reasons

You may stop using the Platform at any time. Obligations that should survive termination (payment, liability limits, investment risk acknowledgment, etc.) will survive.

17) Changes to This Agreement

BlueBook may modify this Agreement from time to time. Updated terms become effective when posted or communicated. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance.

18) Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the state where BlueBook Education is registered/operating, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless a mandatory local law requires otherwise.

20) Final Acknowledgment

By reading this, using the Platform, scheduling tutoring, making payment, and/or investing with BlueBook Education, you agree to these Terms and Conditions, including the Cancellation Policy, Investment Terms, and Privacy/Data Use Policy.

By continuing, you confirm your acceptance of this Agreement.
